She is a mother, teacher, educator and artist. She live by the philosophy of Dr Dorothy Einon (2004), whereby she states that learning through play allows for individual expressions, new discoveries and opinions to take place. Supported by her focus on child development and a holistic childcare approach, she believe each child is an individual who should be respected and valued accordingly and that every child should be given a chance to reach their full potential. In providing a caring, safe, structured and stimulating environment, this aftercare facility becomes an extension of her philosophy. The facility is structured according a daily program, starting with lunch and then a supervised homework session. This is followed, with a variety of activities, ranging from construction, educational, imaginative, physical and free play. These activities are aimed at helping your child grow socially, emotionally and physically. The role of play and art making is emphasised in this environment which provides opportunities for self- expression and independent choice. The after-care facility is supported by a good staff- to – child ratio, which allows individual attention and assists the child to built strong relationships with caring adults. Together with the emphasis on providing a safe and happy space, the children can learn freely, explore, play and make new friends. As an educator she is committed to continuous self-improvement and giving your child a loving educational experience. Through her years of formal teaching and working with immigrant children, she believe in the importance of a child as they are our future.
