                                                                                                                      Liela Magnus from SABC Radio come to visit us at Anton van Wouw pre-primary on 9 June.  She has done a program about "Therapeutic Horse-riding" and it is going to be broadcast today on RSG between 12:00 PM - 14:00 PM.  Times may vary because of FIFA World Cup broadcasting or it will stand over to Monday.

This is an inexpensive, positive way to let your children find out if they really want to pursue horse riding and whether or not they can handle the care and duties that come along with the actual riding.  Hide the Xbox, Wii, Palystation, Barbie & Kent and give them sunshine and fresh air on a 10 hectare plot, 3 km from Silver Lakes.

June/July Holiday Pony-camp is for all chidren between 4-18 years.  Participating in this fun experience will allow children to learn about horses, develop horsemanship skills, socialise in a positive environment and learn good values.  No actual riding skills are necessary.  Activities will include daily riding / instruction, demonstrations, videos and lots of fun and laughter.  Other activities such as boeresport, water games, art and (oh, no!) stable chores are all part of the pony camp.  Your child's safety as well as his enjoyment is our priority.

As we only have a limited number of places available, it is a good idea to reserve you're booking soon to ensure participation in the June/July Holiday Pony camp.

Things to bring:

• You’ll be required to bring long trousers, boots or other closed shoes with a slight heel (school shoes are perfect) and a horse-riding or cycling helmet (or borrow one from us – please indicate if would require a helmet).

• For non-riding activities, pack comfortable walking shoes and casual clothes according to weather conditions. Remember these are outdoor activities and clothes must be allowed to get dirty. There will be time to change.

• Three light meals are provided. If your child has any special dietary requirements, please supply own food.

• Pack sunscreen and hats for sun-protection.

Only R 700-00 for 3 days includes all activities, meals and snacks!
5% discount for parents with two or more children.
